Chinese harbor!!

Do you know there is Chinese buffet in South Austin? I think you didn’t know because that restaurant is not popular. Even though it is not popular, it is very worth to go there. It is called Chinese harbor. You can get there by bus number 1M. It takes about one hour to go there. This restaurant is kind of buffet. It has almost 40 kind of food. There were Chinese thick noodle and also spaghetti. There was mantau. Those were all delicious for me. Also, my friends who I went with said that those food were delicious. I think food’s price was reasonable. If you are sick of fast food or local food, you can enjoy unfamiliar food like Chinese food. I the most highly recommend you to go to Chinese harbor. When you go there, you thank to me. Haha it is just joking, but you may enjoy that food.

there is vietnamese food on Guadalupe

Do you know Vietnamese food? There is one Vietnamese restaurant on Guadalupe. Have you ever heard about haiky? This restaurant sell vietnam’s traditional food. For example, there are noodle with soup which is called pho, fried rice with beef, chicken, and shrimp and so on. Today I would like to introduce combo fried rice. It is famous in this restaurant. I think beef which is in that fried rice is very very good. It is like steak in my opinion. Also, amount of fried rice is very huge. You might not be able to eat whole of things. Two of you can eat it properly. Its price is also good. It is reasonable. All of food are between six and ten. When I went to there, I was satisfied with this food and price. You can enjoy Vietnamese traditional food with reasonable price. It is located right across the dobie mall.

white sand national park

Today I would like to introduce about white sand national park instead of restaurant. I went to white sand which is in New Mexico two weeks ago. When I saw white sand first, I think it was snow! Very beautiful snow. But it did not melt. Also, it was hot not cold!! I was very very surprised. When I entered white sand national park, I can’t see anything except of white. I climbed white sand mountain and I looked around. I was shocked. All direction are white. I have never seen this huge view before. So I took pictures because I wanted to remember this view. I want to share this view with classmate. If you guys have a time to go somewhere and like to go to national park, you should go to white sand national park. I highly very much recommend you to go there. Here is my picture.

Korean restaurant which is called Dongyang.

I would like to introduce Korean restaurant which is called Dongyang food. It is located near north lamar and 183. There are many Korean traditional food. For example, there are Japchae with rice which is like thin noodle with rice, pot of soft tofu, noodle with black traditional sauce. If you are interested in Korean food, you can enjoy food in this restaurant. At this restaurant, you can eat Korean food with very cheap price around 5 dollars. Everyone who have been to this restaurant said food is good. I think so. When I went to this restaurant first time, I ate japchae with rice. It is same as my mother’s food in Korea, so I was surprised. At the end of eating, you can drink Korean traditional beverage which is called shickhye. Shickhye is made of rice. It is very sweet, so I think you guys like this beverage. By the way, there is a market next to this restaurant. This market is called Dongyang market. There are a lot of Korean sauce, snack, noodle and beverage. So you can also enjoy Korean food culture. Visit there!! :)

restaurant in El Paso

I went to El Paso last weekend. As you know, in El Paso, there are many Mexican. For this reason, houses look like Mexican. Door and building shape are all exotic. At that time, I wanted to feel exotic, so I went to Mexican food restaurant. There are many Mexican restaurant. I don’t remember exactly name, but it is not important. Anyway, I went to one Mexican restaurant. In the restaurant, there are all Mexican, especially waitress are all Mexican. I felt I went to Mexico. I ordered trapas tacos. This is kind of tacos with rice and beans. It consists of rice, beans, torttia and pork’s stomach. It is little greasy. But I like it except of beans. Beans are too greasy so I couldn’t eat all. Other dishes were all good. Like tacos salad with beef, their food was good and little exotic. The price was kind of cheap I think. By the way, there are many Mexican restaurant in Austin, so you can try to go there for new food. Ah, El Paso is good place to sightseeing, but that place is kind of boring if you spend two or more days in El Paso. Just my opinion. However it’s worth to go. :)

cheese cake factory!!!!!

Have you heard cheese cake factory? I think you already heard about it. I went to there on Spring Break with my sister. It is located around north Austin. This place is very famous. I really wanted to go there, so I told my sister I want to go there. And then, I could go to cheese cake factory. It is funny because I didn’t eat cheese cake at cheese cake factory. I ate sampler which is sample of all kinds of food. It consisted of 4 dishes. One is fried chicken. Another is cheap with sauce. The others are some vegetable. At that time four people were all full. And it costs reasonable. However, other food are little expensive I think. I think its atmosphere is good. For this reason, food are little expensive. If you didn’t go there so far, I recommend you to go there.

Ginger man which is bar's name

Have you ever been to Ginger man? This place is bar. I always introduce restaurant to you, but this time, I would like to introduce another place, bar. I usually go to the bar in Korea, but I seldom go to the bar in Austin. In this situation, I was very happy to go there. Anyway, I went to the bar whose name is Ginger man. This bar has various beer. I drank ‘cattle’ which is beer’s name. It was little sweet and smooth. I like that. And then, I drank ‘blue moon’ which is beer’s name. It is made of orange’s peer, so it tastes little sour. In my opinion, it was not good. There are many kinds of beer. You can choose various beers. If you like to drink the beer, you can go to Ginger man. It’s atmosphere was good, but price was little expensive I think. One pitcher was 17 dollars. I think it is valuable to go there once.

thai restaurant on Guadalupe.

Do you know madam & moms? This restaurant is on the drag, Guadalupe and 26th. In this restaurant, you can eat thai food. I went to here last weekend. After walking a lot, I was little tired. And then, I ate this restaurant’s food. It was really delicious. Maybe it was why I was tired, but it was really good for me. It was kind of noodle with beef. It was little spicy and sweet. It was most popular food in this restaurant. If you want to order this food, you can say “F1 please” It was little expensive I think. It was $7.5 per one person. Isn’t it expensive? But it is valuable. The other food is almost $7.5 dollars and special. I think you have never eaten this food before. I recommend you to eat unknown special food. But remember, the cost is little expensive than you thought.:p

New Orleans

As you know, I went to New Orleans. There is a festival which is called Mardi Gras. It was exciting experience. There are a lot of parades. I saw certain parade which is group of performance. They who are in a parade performed. Some of them gave us beads, like necklace. People who received the beads put on their neck a lot. Ah, people who like to drink the alcohol can drink the alcohol on the street during this festival.

In New Orleans, there is a famous café whose name is café du monde. In this café, there are very famous donuts. It’s covered by white powder which is consisted of sugar.

Except of this café, there are many interesting place and people. If you want to see many people, you can see many kinds of people in Mardi Gras. If I have a time to go there, I will be there, too.

Do you know the Taiwanese restaurant which is on the Guadalupe

How much do you know about Guadalupe? I have been just one month. So I don’t know much about Guadalupe, about Austin. Across the campus on Guadalupe street, there is a Taiwanese restaurant. I can’t write the name of restaurant because that name is maybe Taiwanese. Did you know that? I went to there yesterday. There is a self service. So there is no tip. Haha. Although this restaurant is very small, the food is good. Price is reasonable. There are many kinds of menus and tea. You can choose one among various things. I chose fried chicken with rice. At first, this food tastes subtle. After adding spicy sauce, it was good taste. There are many sauce there. For example, soy sauce, spicy sauce etc. I can’t remember all the things. If you like to eat something new, I recommend you to go there. It is located right across the Dobie Mall. When you are gonna go there, don’t forget to take me there too :)

Good Place Oasis!!!

I went to Oasis yesterday. Do you know Oasis? This place is located next to lake trabis. There are rocks, trees, and beautiful houses near Oasis. Oasis has more beautiful scenery than Mozart. That is why most people think that this place is more popular than Mozart. When you go there around 6 P.M, you can see the sunset. That is the strong point in Oasis. It is really good. When you see the sunset in Oasis, you can think that you are in a movie. But if you don’t seat near the lake, you can’t see the scenery well. So you need to have luck.
The food is so-so. But someone said that food is terrible. I don’t know about food except of chips. They give us unlimited chips and source and it tastes good. So if you want to drink beer in Oasis, it will be best place for you because they give you beautiful scenery too.

Mozart with beautiful scenery

Do you know Mozart? This is famous café in Austin. I visited this place two weeks ago. It was so wonderful. It is located near river. So we can see beautiful scenery. There are mountain, river, and birds. When I saw birds, I was little surprised because birds usually don’t come near the human in Korea. On the other hand, birds which are in Austin come near the human without fear. I drank a Italian tea with the birds. It was awesome except of allergy. If you have a trouble with allergy, you need to prepare about allergy. Someone said that Mozart’s drink is not good. In my opinion, it was so so. So you completely consider about that point before you decide to go there. There is the another information. There are a lot lot lot of people on weekend. For this reason, you won’t be able to find a seat. You also consider about this before you go. Last, when you have a paln to go there, please take me there with you ^^;

There is good restaurant in downtown

I would like to introduce a restaurant which I visited. It is Iron Works Barbecue. It is located near Red River in downtown. I heard that this restaurant is very famous. For this reason, there are so many people in there at Friday night. Some people of them are couples and the others are families. I think that it is a good place to eat and talk with spouse or family. This restaurant has its own order system. It is like self service. If I want to eat rib, I order that to butcher in the chicken. And then, walk through a path and pay the price of menus. It is kind of interesting thing for me. The menus are beef, rib and sausage. These have each sauce. It is very delicious for me. If you want to eat something sweet meat, I recommend you to go there and have a good meal with someone.
